Kaku Sudo: The First Japanese-American Female Physician - Part 2

Toshihide Hiorse is an orthodontist. He was born in Hyogo, Japan and opened his orthodontic clinic in Hirosaki city, Aomori in 1995 after graduating from faculty of dentistry, Tohoku University. He is interested in the local history of Hirosaki and has published three books (all from Hoppo Shinsha): The Hirosaki old map in the 2nd year of Meiji (2013), Tsugaru Jinbutsu graffiti (Profiles of people from Tsugaru) (2015), Kaku Sudo—the first Japanese-American female physician (2017). He started his blog, Dr. Hirose’s Hirosaki Blog, in 2007.
