“ Henry Sugimoto talks the camp-life scenes in the United States of America “

During World War 2 Henry Sugimoto painted the camp life of Japanese people. He donated 36 paintings and 18 watercolor paintings to Wakayama city where he was born. The camp life paintings are displayed at Wakayama Civic Library.
In 1980 the public information section of the civil authority of Wakayama city interviewed him and recorded. He commented on the picture which himself drew. While hearing the recording in which he thinks for the pictures, we show images of paintings by slide show.
