A CALL OUT TO ALL HULA DANCERS!

Halau Na Wai Ola in conjuction with the Japan Town CommunityCongress of San Jose (JCCSJ) will play a part in local relief efforts and fundraising for the tsunami and earthquake victims of Japan. This informal program is open to all hula dancers and hula halaus. Spread the word to all you hula brothers and sisters! The program will start a with a gather for hula basics to be followed with an hour or so of hula standards to live music.
Our goal is to have 1000 or more hula dancers participating in this fundraiser. A donation/collection will be asked of each dancer. Donations will be forwarded to the Japanese Red Cross. Bring your pa u and dance to Ulupalakua, Ka Ula Wehi O Ke Kai, Sophisticated Hula and other favorites as we share the spirit of Aloha and raise money for our friends and family in Japan.
