Join the Japanese American Museum of San Jose Book Club to discuss and explore Yoshiko Uchida's Picture Bride , a novel that unveils the plight of Japanese Americans incarcerated during World War II. It tells the story of Hana Omiya, a young Japanese "picture bride" whose spirit and strength enabled her to survive through great tragedy and the turmoil of war.
