Vicky K. Murakami-Tsuda

Vicky K. Murakami-Tsuda es Gerente de Producción de Comunicaciones del Museo Nacional Japonés Americano. Le encanta trabajar en el proyecto Descubra a los Nikkei, porque le ofrece la oportunidad de conocer tantas historias nuevas e interesantes y conectarse con gente de todo el mundo que comparta intereses similares.

Vicky es una yonsei “autoproclamada” de California del Sur que proviene de una gran familia extendida. Hace mucho tiempo (cuando tenía más tiempo libre y energía), Vicky era también una artista que exploraba la cultura e historia japonesa-estadounidense a través de su obra artística. Actualmente, cuando Vicky no está trabajando, disfruta comer, alentar a su adorado equipo de béisbol los Dodgers, jugar bolos, leer y jugar juegos en su celular (¿alguien juega Wordl?) y ver maratones de películas y programas.

Hiroshima Revisited: Interview with Steve Nguyen

Steve Nguyen is the director/producer of the animated film, HIBAKUSHA which re-creates the real-life experiences of Kaz Suyeishi, a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Since the release of the film, he has produced a short documentary that he filmed with the nonprofit campaign Global Zero of his visit to the city of Hiroshima.
