Madeline Thach

Madeline Thach (12) is a seventh grade homeschooler from Colleyville, Texas. Her passion for infusing history and culture into her writing has earned her several awards including third place in the international Saugus Halloween Ghost Story Contest (middle school division) and an American Hero Scholarship from the Rush & Kathryn Adams Limbaugh Foundation.

Madeline is also an award-winning vocalist who performs classical and musical theater selections in Latin, Italian, German, Spanish, French, and English. When she isn’t singing or writing, Madeline can be found reading in her beanbag chair, riding on her scooter, or volunteering at the library.

The California sun was bright as Erin strolled through the streets of Little Tokyo, too lost in worry to notice the sights around her. Ugh! She thought, trying to push the negative thoughts out of her head. It’s my day off, and I’m going to enjoy it!
